Hello Dear Readers:
It has been a whirlwind of activity around here from birthday celebrations to visiting with family, days spent at the lake, park, zoo etc. And there has not been a lot of time for me to sit down and reflect upon turning the BIG 4-0. And now I blinked, and it has happened. And really, nothing happened. Sure, I still feel happy and healthy. And Ana is happy and healthy. And that is all I can really ask for. Her birthday celebrations went off without a hitch, except for the pesky thunderstorm scheduled during her swimparty. So I changed the venue to our house, found some crafts and rescued the day. She barely noticed. As for me, most of my celebrating takes place this coming weekend, though I turned 40 on Wed, the 6th. I hope to have at least a couple of photos to show for it, before I get too lit to remember to take them...ha ha. No, really. Check out some photos from Ana's birthday week!!

You are still very beautiful and very fit at 40, and Ana is a wonderful child.
