Review: Joyal Beauty Super Brightening Vitamin C Serum #PROVCS1

 Dear Readers:

First off let me start by saying that I received the sweetest personal letter with my Joyal Beauty Vitamin C Serum. And yes, that does mean a lot to me. I get pitched a lot of products (as a blogger) and I have tried a lot of beauty serums and it is the little details that stick out when I am testing, trying out, reviewing, etc. They personalized the letter that was included with the product  and even sent best wishes to Princess Ana. So...thanks Joyal that was really sweet and means a lot to me. Now, lets get to the good stuff.

I love this bottle and the packaging and I especially love the serum inside. It is high quality and has a nice light scent.  I have been using it for several weeks and so far , my skin looks great.  It looks bright and lighter, and firmer.

From the company:

"Joyal Beauty Super Brightening Vitamin C Serum is a powerful concentrated delivery system for the highest form of active, stabilized, bio-available Vitamin C boosting collagen production and increasing elasticity and firmness. It is also enriched with vitamin E, ferulic acid, pure vegan hyaluronic acid and many anti-aging formulas to plump skin cells and restore cells. Our potent plants-derived ferulic acid incorporation into the topical solution of vitamin C+E improved chemical stability of the vitamins C+E and doubled photoprotection to solar-simulated irradiation of skin from 4-fold to approximately 8-fold as measured by both erythema and sunburn cell formation. This antioxidant formulation efficiently reduced thymine dimer formation. This combination of pure natural low molecular weight antioxidant provides meaningful synergistic protection against oxidative stress in skin and powerful for protection against photoaging. You will definitely see amazing radiant glow with your complexion within 4 weeks!"

I told you that I love the bottle, and there is definitely a science behind it..Joyal chose it on purpose:

"Joyal Beauty Serums carefully choose dark amber glass pump bottle as packaging instead of a dropper bottle to avoid the active ingredients exposure to air and light. Since we know all antioxidants, including vitamin C, are vulnerable to deterioration in the presence of air and light, the smartest choice is definitely dark container with pump so that light and air don't degrade them quickly. With pump bottle you do not need to open the serum cap every time when you apply, while opening the dropper serum usually increases possibilities of some ingredients exposure to more air and light. Also pump bottle is easier to control the usage compared to dropper bottle and avoid waste of serum.
This Serum can be applied once or twice daily,AM and PM. This Serum is the first product that should be applied to the skin after cleansing and toning (if no toning, that is fine). Apply the serum with one or two fingers (so as to avoid wasting the serum on your hands) and massage gently thoroughly into the skin. A sunscreen should be applied over the serum in the morning and a moisturizer appropriate for an individual's skin type should be used over the serum at night. Serum can not replace moisturizer if you have dry skin type, you still need to apply your favorite moisturizer after apply serum. However, if you have oily skin type, you may find applying this serum alone without other moisturizers makes you feel more comfortable. It is up to your feeling. Feel it, and find the best way to use it.

2. When applying the serum, you may slightly massage your face using circular motion with fingers for 2-3 minutes for better results. You self facial massage should be especially soft and gentle around your eyes. The act of massaging will stimulate blood circulation and new cell generation and also the nutrition ingredients present in the serum will be able to penetrate deep inside the skin.

3. Then follow with moisturizer. Vitamin C Serum is good for all skin types. Remember it is not moisturizer. You still need moisturizer after applying serum: ---If your skin type is normal or oily or combined, after applying serum, follow with a non-greasy light moisturizer is suitable; ---If your skin type is dry, simply using deep moisturizer mixed with or without high quality facial oils will help. You can also add to apply our Ultra Hyaluronic Moisturizing Serum after apply Vitamin C serum, then follow with moisturizer. Using air humidifier in your bedroom at night is also very good since humidifier adds moisture to the air, and our serums containing hyaluronic acid attract moisture efficiently, thus benefiting your dry skin.

4. Our vitamin C serum can be used daily, morning and night. Can be used under any moisturizing cream, sunscreen and makeup. Do not forget to apply sunscreen to avoid the sun damage at day time. Remember vitamin C is not a "sunscreen" because it does not absorb light in the UVA or UVB spectrum. However, vitamin C limits the damage induced by UV light exposure. At night time, applying the serum and moisturizer before bedtime and getting enough beauty sleep.
