My favorite type of workout exercise is water aerobics. As someone with arthritis, I find it is a great workout, easy on my joints and alot of fun! I love outdoorsy stuff as well such as hiking, nothing beats some of the breathtaking views only a hike can reveal.

I have to do crazy things to stay motivated exercise-wise! I will watch Biggest Loser episodes while I do aerobics in front of the tv. I love treading water in the pool. I even make my daughter do dance-a-thons with me that go on for a couple hours sometimes. Seriously, if I don't keep it creative, I get bored!

I work out alone, after weighing 512 pounds I have found out that exercising isn't something to be afraid of, it can feel amazing if you let it. I love to walk and do the recumbent bike at my apartment gym.

Long distance hiking/backpacking is a great way to lose weight and tone the butt and legs (however, you'll need months away at a time.

I found one of those balls with a handle for children which they can bounce on. I now use it everyday. It is so much fun and keeps me moving when I have no energy to do anything else.
