#Revoltnowfit recipe of the week: Homemade Turkey Burgers and Potatoes Rustica
As you know by know , I have been following the Revolt eating plan and exercise for about 6/7 weeks and it has been great. Lots of inches lost, and I am thinning out, heading back into my 6s and eventually my 4s. In the meantime , I have shared lots of food photos from the past few weeks and this particular one warranted the recipe:
Homemade Turkey Burgers with Potatoes Rustica:
Seasoning of choice (i put some onions and peppers)
Add choice of seasonings to ground turkey , form into patties and cook on grill or in pan that has been oiled with non stick spray . Serve with Potatoes Rustica and green salad.
4 oz burger and 1/4 cup of potatoes are one serving.
1 lb red potatoes, with skin
1 lb green beans
3 cloves of garlic, chopped
1/2 cup fresh basil chopped or 1 tbs dried basil
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
Fresh cracked pepper
Boil potatoes until almost done, add green beans and cook until the beans are tender. Drain , put back into pot. Mix garlic, basil, oil, dijon, pepper and salt in a bowl until blended. Pour over potatoes and beans , toss until dressing is well mixed. YUM
