Hello my dear readers:
I am so saddened when I hear about hoarders and pet hoarders especially. And this sweet little cat, Bruce was rescued via a pet hoarding situation during Hurricane Sandy! Let's give Bruce the Cat a happy non-hoarder ending. Bruce is a 1-year-old domestic shorthair mix who is looking for a special valentine to love him. This handsome guy has a big heart, and some extra digits on his feet as a polydactyl cat. Bruce appreciates quiet, gentle attention and can be a bit shy at first. If you let him sniff your hand before reaching out to touch him, you’ll find him quickly purring away and begging for some more scratches and snuggles. He does have a scar on his cornea, but there’s no need to worry! It doesn’t bother him and his vision is nearly perfect. Bruce is bonded to his best friend Andrew, they love each other so much that they simply cannot be separated and must be adopted together. A quiet household with respectful children older than 10 would be best.
Tomorrow in NYC, the ASPCA is hosting a wonderful event in Brooklyn to help with the adoption of all of the cats who were rescued. Check out this link for the info..and please pass it on to any NYC'ers that you know.
