Phase 2 of Losing Weight, working out and moderation.

scale
 Hello Dear Readers:
Tis the season, or so they say. Well, for me it is a great season of fun, family and parties. But also, fattening foods. Cookies, Pies, Breads, Carbs in general. These are my weaknesses during the Thanksgiving/Xmas/Hanukkah season.  So how does one avoid all of the sweets/carby goodies??? Well, It is virtually impossible to completely avoid them all together, so indulge. Just do it in moderation. Allow yourself a couple of bites or a cookie. Just step away from the plate after. Or have a cup of tea with it.

I am entering Phase 2 of my workout and healthy eating plan. I have lost a good deal of the weight that I wanted to lose, but I am a good 10 lbs from my goal weight. So, I am going to tough it out during the holiday season. Come along with me and be part of my support team. I will have healthy yummy recipes . Workout links and ideas and  new fun program to talk about. I will probably complain about the weight loss slowing down, and will celebrate each lb as it says bye bye . I will be here to listen if you want to vent. Let's do this!!!

I will start. Today November 5th at approx 3:30 pm I am declaring the Holiday Season Approachable. Not scary or threatening. I will do my best to workout regularly. Eat the best foods I can eat and make wise choices.  I want to lose 10 lbs by February .

Today I took a Stroller Strides Class, ate a good breakfast and a salad for lunch. Did not snack and am not hungry. So far, so good!
XO,

Have you tried the Tabata Method, yet? Lots of fat burning goes in on 4 minutes, but you might need to work up to it. Good luck!
